I have to install Oracle 9.2i on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 8 to an
IBM xSeries 335 (Intel Xeon 3GHz) machine.
I downloaded the intallation guide from the suse.com and I installed
SLES8 wiHas any body installed 10g on UnitedLinux1.0?
if so what are the chalenges?
will you to have UnitedLinux1.0 patch upgrades?

(Test-System already
patched to the latest version Auto-Mode).
But Since the last kernel-patch (2.4.21 215 to 226) thhello
we 're using sles8sp3 with ora RAC ( 9.2.0.5).
from time to time the cm.log file shows

I have to update Oracle 8.1.7.0 to the newest Version of Oracle8i.
What do I need?
How can I do it?
The Linux is SuSE Linux Professional 8.2.

No. Use orarun.rpm. This will set kernel parameters and many other stuff.
