We have installed Oracle 10g (9.0.4) with Patcheset 1 (9.0.4.1.0.) in SLES 8
with SP3.
Now we need to configure WebCache to respond via port 80 instead of port
7780.
But to the SLES I installed the recommended patches mentioned in Metalink Note 246557.1
including the 9.2.0.4 Update thereafter SLES SP3. So far i didn 't

sorry for loosing track of this thread. What
I wanted to address was the comment that CRS
will fail over the listener. Since we are not
talking about RAC there will be no CRS. And
even if CRS I 've been trying to install Oracle on SLES9 and gotten through most of
the problems.
However my media from Oracle is 9.2.0.1 so I install it and everything
is fine (some linking problems). ThenPedro
