You should probably try your luck with the dbi-users mailing list then. Have
a look here
http //dbi.perl.orgDBD Oracle has nothing to do with SuSE and/or Oracle. It is open source software and as such will most likely not be supported by SuSE and definitely not by Oracle.
As for installing this module I have sucessfully install Oracle 9.2 (following
installations notes provided by others thanks) on Suse
9.0 and everything is working except for OEM worksheet and

if you do so what i ighly recommend you have to do a
sudo updatedb
to make the search database up to date.

kernel. With default kernel 2.4.7 it works fine but with 2.4.18 system

Which orarun.rpm should I use when installing Oracle 9i and Oracle 8i on the same machine (SLES8)? The README.txt is not clear.
The choices are
orarun8i.rpm
orarun9i.rpm

the cuestion is
was oracle9iR1( linux version) developed using Suse Linux 7.2.
if so where can i find that info in the oracle web ?
