i 'm installing the oracle 9i database on a fresh suse
linux desktop 9.2.
i have the common problem
"error while involing the target...... " this for every
file whit mk extension.
i tried hello everybody from a newbie in oracle
i have an oracle client (9ir2) installed on a suse 9.2 desktop. if i
access the oem from the console i can 't get my default credentials saved.
by example I posted scripts for automated installation and manuals (very detailed for
Oracle 10g RAC) here

May be some documents can migrate to the better place in future.Does anybody know how many CD 's are in SP3 for SLES8.
I found 2 but I am not sure if that is all of them.

I am trying to install Oracle 9.2.0.4 in SUSE 9.1. In the process to copy
files "Install Oracle Net Required Support Files 9.2.0.4.0 " in the file

I am new to Oracle and 10G. I have completed a 10G Rac installation on 2 nodes.
According to some oracle documents I read the application connecting to the 10G
database will do a transparent hi list
here are ly logs errors and my fstab file
currently i 'm installing on a separate partition whit ext3 format starting the installation whit the common user "mauro ".this user has a common homehi list
i have copied the package in a directory (i 'mreferring to oracle 9)
after i have done the runinstaller.
the istallation was good
but during the linking fase i had this errors
/oracle/plHi.
How do I change permanently these parameters?
