I try to create a trigger by using the following code.
Problem The trigger is fired by updating the Table TB_SEND_BLOOM.
This is the table where the select count(*) statement writes valueWe 're running 10.1.0.3 x86-64 on 2.6.5-7.147-smp on a Dell 2850 with 2 x Xeon CPU 's 4GB of
RAM and a 210GB RAID. We just did a brand-new install of Oracle and created a database
without appareDoes anyone have an idea what 's wrong with Oracle / Motif / GUI so that all
their gui applications (netca dbca etc...)
works fine when started thru fast 100Mbit network or from local console butWe are trying to achive system authentication for Oracle - OPS$ system.
Is it possible to authenticate Oracle users using PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) on UNIX/Linux?

I ran in the problem that the Listener on our SLES8 (x86) with 9i 9.2.0.6.0
hangs intermittently. I believe that I ran into the Bug 2893953 which you
find in metalink which is nUpdated document posted.
Final results
- Ora10RAC works (dell 2850 x86_64)
- OEM (DB console) works
- ASM works (after I fixed previous issue)
I keep it as last _very detailed_ document I posted first version of very detailed guide and installation scripts here

Best and safest is to handle your spfile and pfile with the Enterprise
Manager.
If you want to update both pfile and spfile use "scope both ".
