when installing Oracle clusterware 10gR2 on SLES9 SP2 I get following error
message when running the root.sh script to finish the installation

have to follow the same steps that I followed in an x86 server or if some

Anybody knows when Oracle 10gr2 Database will be certified with SLES9?
We are installing a RAC database (10gR2) under SLES9 and we are getting some
problems but oracle support doesn 't helpHi!

I 'm trying to import data from a lot (600) flat files (from Informix) to Oracle.
I 've been checking SQL-Loader but the problem is that I have to give
the name of every field of every ti am getting the above error when i try to run 9.2.0.4 installer on SLES
9 on AMD64 machine i have tried the workaround
1. commenting out test-d /lib/i686 && export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL 2.*.* but
still gWe are running both IAS 1.0.2.2.2 on SLES8 and OAS 9.0.4.1 on SLES9. We
are having problem where it seems that the forms on getting cached so when
we make a change to a form it doesn 't show us untilHi.
Is already available the OCFS2 version for SLES9? I can?t find it in
oss.oracle.com.

I need to get data from a single instance database to a 4 node RAC
database. I used the "dbca " to generate a template and successfully
created the database and can start all 4 instances. HowevHi all

rpmbuild --with oci8 /opt/oracle/product/10g1 --rebuild
php4-4.3.10-14.src.rpm
which does indeed rebuild php but it fails to include the oracleHi there
did a little dokuwork lately. Please check it out if you find it useful. But
remember it isn 't ready yet.

Finally and with lot of help we installed an oracle 9i over suse 9.3
without enteeprise manager.
now I can log to the oracle and make an startup of my database and I
start the listener and everithing Hello All!
I 've been told that it was a lot of tricks to enable ASYNC for 9iR2
we should apply some OS/Oracle patches relink Oracle etc.
Maybe something is changed with SP2?

what package is the orarun xshared dependancy a part of? i 'm building
orarun from the sles9 src for my suse 9.3 servers and this is listed as
a dependancy but there is no xshared package evI 'm going to send the same mail on two lists so I 'm sorry if your read
