I 'm trying to use async on Oracle 9.2.0.6 with Sles 9 with Sp2. The installation worked fine there is no obvious problem. I recompile oracle with async support with no problem. Then restartLooks interestring.
Try to add
... rcoracle start < /dev/null
looks as some component asks you 'to press Enter '.

The CD images are available for download from
http //edelivery.oracle.com under Databases for Linux x86.
They only work for 32-bit Linux. I was unable to get the installer to

Is there a easy way to get the number of transactions lets say per day?

OCFS2. All the It is not so easy. It have a link to 'Oracle at SuSe linux ' page but it is
well hidden inside.
