I 've got a problem with shutting down a SLES9 64bit SP3 with Oracle 10.2.0.1
using ASM. It is no RAC setup just a single instance with ASM.
The machine bootup is running without troubleI have oracle running on SuSE 9.3.
I need normal users to be able to run sqlplus. I can run sqlplus as the
oracle user. When I log in as the oracle user I can also connect to the

You did right thing to comment some section in oracle.sh script to make
it work on IA64.
Please post detailed error you are getting with netca.

If you have the same throughput for all cards then
Hi Silviu
I had a similar case where I had different card-addresses in my different machines.
I.e. I had 2 machines with 3 network interfaces each. 2 * PCI gigabit cards and 1 on-board 100Mbit inI don 't know why Clusterware would do this but it doesn 't feel right at all.
The interfaces were specified correctly (which is public which is private) at
installation. There weren 't any changes I am trying to use OCFS with Suse 10.
I get the following error when doing

The zombie is draining the buffers until the systems starts Hi Ronald
I have just solved the problem.
This is bug 4696660.
Two DLLs are missing (MSVCR71.DLL and MFC71.DLL).
After downloading and copying to %systemRoot%system the instantclient works
fine.
See Hi

Hi Silviu
a 100 Mbit interconnect provides definetly too less. The minimum is a gigabit line. Even better is infiniband.
