i cloned a running 10.1.0.5 database via "stealing " a disc-raid-set.
Startup went OK.
Changed couple of directory names which contained the hostname.
Changed entries in listener.ora.

Installing orarun included gcc libaio-devel etc.
Patch to 10.1.0.5 run without problems.
