Well I think frustration iHello every one
I 'm trying to setup ASM in a two nodes RAC cluster 10.2 over SLES10. I want to use multipath (with a EMC SAN CX500). Multipath is running ok as I can see all LUN 's defined. But

Anyone has some info?
Thank you. KinHi!
I am hoping to get some advise.

Hi Arun
As we saw while googling for this bug IBM-DB2 is having the same problem
with exactly the same problem aio.c 733.
So it 's not only an suse-oracle-problem!

I can understand the frustration here as I am following this in the

Sorry...but cool down is not an option.
We have this bug on 3 machines since beginning of september (!!!) and opened
novell and oracle support-cases....without any success/effort.
We escalHas anyone experience using Opteron and Xeon processors in RAC 10.2

Are they fully compatible as RAC node ?
Sotnikov VladimirI strongly support you Alexei on this one. This is not very business

here other wise they will loose us . Loud and Clear.
YoavHello All
we have to migrate an 9i DB from a Linux IA64 Itanium to Linux x86_64 AMD Opteron.
We have to stay on 9i so we cannot use the new 10g data pump features or rman
transportable tablespaces. This is a critical bug - why it takes so long to fix it?
Novell is not primary Linux in Oracle (it is not tested with it
automatically by internal users as they do with RHEL4.4) so it makes

I earned trouble with Gridcontrol 10.2.0.2 on SLES9 x86

just got kernel bug on SLES9 SP3 Oracle 10.1.0.5.
Advice from list 2 months ago was to go back to SP2 (how?)
or switch off async io.
Both is no solution for us.
Is there a new kernel to fix tAt home I have been using Suse Linux Enterprise server 9.3 for some time now
because I wanted to test some Oracle software
If you want to install a database like 10g rel 2 everything works fine
