I am trying to install Oracle 9i on Remote server ( Via VPN access) gives me error that DISPLAY has not been set. I had installed X-Config on my PC and set the DISPLAY correctly stHi !
You have to cross-mount the NFS-Filesystems for archlogs on the 2 machines
in different dir-names.
Example
Machine1 Instance PROD1
/u01/PROD/prod1_logs (local Filesystem)
/u01/PROD/prod2_lo
Is it possible to unshared ORACLE_HOME each node with its own ORACLE_HOME so ocfs2 it 's not needed anymore (I only use ocfs2 to share ORACLE_HOME)?

We found out that older ODBC Versions eat up our server memory.
We try to close and reopen the ODBC connection in our applications.
We found out (Aside of licensing issues).
I 'd better install Oracle then tar it into the tgz file create short
script which set up few files around the system and install as 'tar xzf '.

I 've just successfully installed this on RedHat4 so this is only an
