You can always take the approach that if Oracle says it must be patched and
you have warned management that the patch should be applied and tested
before it goes to production then you hAFAIK the segment header does not have a row count only the number of blocks
below hwm. But on the matter of count(*) not doing a FTS that is correct.
Oracle will use an index when possible.
Hi
They didn 't mention anything about 9203 on Sun and 8.1.7(yes we have) on
Sun.
Can I safely conclude that my systems are not effected?
Thank you All!!

To unsubscribe - mailtWhat annoys me the most is that the bug is so trivial
that it should have been discovered during the beta test.
You and Pete didn 't specify how exactly is it possible probably
out of the goodnessMay I make the point that having the script source in no way ensures
that you have the code as it is in the database you are copying from?
There are way too many people who make "quick fixes " withHandling nulls consistently is specified in the "rules. " (Ted Codd 's 12
(which are really 13 if you count zero))
Specification of a value for "some error happened along the way so I don 't
know wEspecially having in mind the recent speed of this list.
I wonder whether the server switched to CPIP connection.

Whatr are you testing with your anonymous block? You send over the
PL/SQL code to the instance it will execute it and the result (time
elapsed) will return.
All row processing is done intWe use 'opatch lsinventory ' ...
You may use the same.
