We have several Oracle databases with different versions i.e. Oracle 7.3.4 Oracle 8i and Oracle 9i. We need to keep data in sync between these databases. One way of achieving this is Our developers put an .ear file together but whenever I try to deploy it to

We are currently in the market for storage for our production databases (one
batch processing and a data warehouse). Our current storage is a san with 3

I 'm not on SUN so this may be a shot in the dark. Are java and the OUI at
the right versions? I believe the current requirement is 2.2.0.18 for OUI
and at least 1.3.1 for jre/java.

Your answer is one of those "just because we 've always done it that way "
answers. And that is not a good answer - RMAN should be able to restore
a backup from only 5 years ago. Why do you I know that I can get all of this from 10046 traces including the recursive
SQL. I 've been using them for years and thanks to Cary and others I know
how to interpret them pretty well. The issue Typically when someone goes 'never ' its an over simplification and is often wrong. The only time I say 'never ' is when I talk to a non-technical person or someone without database skills since its toOracle 9 client is only cerified on windows xp pro not on home
