this hassle in various forms and some are being regretfully emasculated to
having squat for privileges... And I am not suHell List

It is the easiest way to keep DBNAME and instance name the sameHi.
I have Oracle 9i (9.2) RAC on RHAS 2.1 and are using Resouce Consumer
Groups. I have played around with the view GV$RSRC_CONSUMER_GROUP
however I wish to extract more detailed information. We are going to move our databases from AIX5L to HP SUPERDOM server.
Does any one have experience about the performance problems or
improvements? Can any one give me the best kernal parameters listsWe ran 8.1.7.4 SE with standby database on Win2k for many months before
finally upgrading to EE. ARC redo logs were manually shipped via custom
scripts and applied every hour via a scheduled task. AAshoke
yes. I have experienced issues with applying Security Alert #68
patchsets on 8.1.7.4.x on win32.
There is a bug in patchsets later than 8.1.7.4.15 that affects the
java virtual machineI know on ORACLE 8i and 9i Standard Edition does NOT
support "data guard redo apply and SQL apply ".
Does ORACLE Standard Edition on 8i support "standby

Does both servers need be saV$sql and statspack would qualify. ) 20

I think your question arises from the fact that
Oracle clearly seems to be doing redundanI don 't have to request the system password but do have to
request the password for the application accounts on the servers.
We have personal logins with admin rights on the servers. The
point NO and that 's the way it 's going to stay. 20

Alomari 's book is excellent. The problem is that not only he doesn 't
cover 9i but in addition AFAIK it doesn 't cover AIX! Therefore not the
right choice for you... 20

I 'm writing a batch update/insert procedure and am wondering if there is
a way to only update columns corresponding to the 'on ' clause if they
are different from the current value?...instead I am attempting to install 8.1.7.4.16 on Windows 2000.
After installing the software from the CD I installed the 8.1.7.4
patch and the #68 security patch (8.1.7.4.16). I then built
a new databaseUse
dbms_system.KSDWRT(2 ...)
