In 10.1.0.3 there is a parameter _kglsim_maxmem_percent which specifies the
max percentage of shared pool the library cache advisor may use and also
there 's a _library_cache_advice parameteThe reason why PGA memory never releases is because you are well under
your pga target.
There 's is no need to schedule a "release " of this memory unless your
target is innapropriate.

All of our scripts that do this sort of thing (truncate and load) analyze
the table immediately after running the data load. Since it happens
automatically no one forgets about it. ThiIt looks to me like you have a design problem. You partitioned by month
but you are querying by quarter. Maybe you should have partitioned by
quarter - you know - another column in the table that Just wondering if anyone is contemplating attending the SANSfire 2005

multiple different environments) into shared pool issues.
The solution so far has been to increase the shared pool sThe index isn 't used to drive partition elimination so unless you are runn
