I 've not received any posts from the list for the last several days. Up until

First error numbers and a code sample would be helpful.
Second you need to be using 9i or later to be able to read & write
binary data via UTL_FILE. You also need to use the PUT_RAW function

My database is 9205 on HP-UX 11.11. I was looking at a query that was
taking a long time to run today.
My guess from the trace is that the Oracle server process is reading 1
block and shiAny command I give gives the same error. I saw all the BP. All are
running fine.
Any idea why this is happening?
