We have the cases when 10g generates execution plans differently than
9i. Stats on tables are the same. Is anyone aware of any
changes/improvements in temporary tables handling by CBO in 10.1List
Have a look at this. Some are a little outdated but this is a good one

So much forIs it possible to look at the V$SQL - PLAN_HASH_VALUE
for the 2 SQL sessions?
By using the PLAN_HASH_VALUE in the V$SQL view you can
track when new access paths to data have been used.

Ok I 've got OID and Multi-Master Replication working.
Now I 'm trying to get the Oracle client to use DNS to look up an SRV
record to locate the directory server(s).
With a static ldap.
I 'm no longer current with the "theory " of Disaster Recovery but the
last time I worked near it the main rule seemed to be this

18 months from now. In fact the actual end date has not even been
announced yet.
I think it 's safe to assume that there willYeah a privileged user can drop the constraint but not accidentally.
A "privileged " user can drop the table too.
The idea here (I would think) is to lock a table for a while for
maintenance or Don 't know about anyone else but I would not schedule
any DB changes during these times.

I don 't remember the Install & Config Guide specifying a minimum

This should be simple.
The whole idea to "testing " is to ensure that the thing you are
testing will actually work when you do it for real. Would you test an
Oracle 9i - > Oracle 10g I don 't think you can tell from an export. This information is usually
kept in the inventory files.
You could try a hex dump of the first few block.
