Since Oracle v7 if you stated to Oracle that you had a sym link they
would walk away. Sym links can be a good thing if you are careful. We
use them frequently.

We use Precise/Veritas/Symantec i3 to watch our DBs and webservers the DB is SGA sampled so no hits on the DD views while we don 't use Oracle Apps we do use various MS N-Tier type apps. I3 has ageNavisphere Analyzer is the best tool out there to monitor and plot trends
for storage backend analysis. It provides you several levels of details and
will be hard to piece meal it from a navicli persp

The only bad thing about the pre-requisit is that must attend couple
of oracle advanced courses from Oracle University which cost good

upgrade(9.2.0.4) on Solaris 9. I started with checking environment setup and
found the following

experiencing issues regarding memory used by each user session connected to

It 's expected behaviour to see a FETCH operation even if no rows are
found. Think about opening a cursor in PL/SQL - the OPEN (EXEC in the
