Does anyone have ORACLE 9ir2 or 10Gr2 "32 " bits under
Redhat AS4 64 bits environment?
does it ORA87.6 hours downtime per year 3.65 days per year 99% uptime Two 9s.
Four 9s 99.99% uptime 53 mins downtime per year.

Unless you determine what is the cause of your performance issue
setting different options for filesystems would probably not get you

The only 'glitch ' I have is when I sort on the "Last Login " column (I 'm
one of the admins for our agency) it 's sorted on a character version of
the date i.e.There is couple of chapters on how to backup a 10GAS installation in
the "Oracle
10gAS administration " manual.
There are nice "Perl " scripts to execute them as well.
