In my shop we have 40 databases on HP-UX. I have dedicated file systems for
the Oracle databases. I see no problem in filling them 99 % as long as no
datafiles are running in AUTOEXTEND mode.

Here is my guess You are a technical person so are expecting something
concrete something in this universe. This is in an alternate universe which
we refer to as the "buzzword universe ". SI am trying to run this ultraSearch config file for creating a db. The
scripts were generated by dbca. This one has the HOST server parameter.

For UTf8 195 182Are these bitmap indexes? Bitmap indexes with lots of table updates would
cause something like this.
If not then checking statspack report is warranted.

Then take another look at your trigger and see if you really
want to put that command in a trigger.
My guess iA VLAN is what we normally recommend if the customer does not have access to
a secondary switch just for the interconnect.

You didn 't state what Linux.
Those aren 't processes. They are threads and they wont
cause you any problem re process limit.
If you don 't like the way they look you should be able
to do this

The issue with this SQL is that you will get incorrect results if you
had a Db restart in between. I use the following segment to get the data
out of STATSPACK tables. Change it as required Are you 100% sure you ran root.sh after installing the agent on that node ?
