Is there any specific dynamic performance table to find out whether my database is
RAC database or NON-RAc database.
We can do a count on gv$ tables but when i lost all nodes Hi All
When my porgramme tries to write to a file using the utl_file.putf ()
it is writing only 15000 records only. and after that it is erroring out.
I checked the mountpoint. it has perhaps your use of 'skip locked ' is playing a role here??
Have you tried it without using the 'skip locked ' option (which last time I
checked was not supported).

OEM... well 10g OEM might work for some tasks but it 's not enough.
HoweveWell if your requirement is to free up the disk from one diskgroup
than instead of creating new diskgroup you might consider just adding
disks to DtDg1 and removing disk that you need to use for someHi Larry
I looked at that a while ago. If I recall correctly as of 9i
prespawned dedicated servers are deprecated and Oracle recommends using
Shared Server instead.
That didn 't make a WHOLE lI think Oracle Wait Interface Chapter 6 is helpful.

How do they compare MS to Oracle
In Oracle term a database would be what a MS/Sybase call a "SQL Server ". They have lots of databases - a thing that compares to a combination of schema/tablespacErm......a rare skill indeed !!!!!

yes ASM is useful - but you cannot compare CBO and ASM. If there is a bug in CBO - you still get your data. But if there is a bug in ASM ...?
