Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control I notice that version 2 (v10.2.x)
is currently available for Linux x86 Solaris (SPARC) HP-UX and Hello all
Oracle 9206 on windows.
I got a call from the system people that oracle is using 50% cpu.
50% cpu because the computer have 2 cpu so it was looping and using
100% of one cpu.
I checked Oracle Version 8.1.7.0
Solaris 2.8
We ran into an issue using database links and mv 's. It seemed to work to recreate instead of refreshing mv 's but I am thinking that that might be causing anWe had a good experience but it was during an implementation of a new
server so there wasn 't a whole log of pre-CIO data to compare to

Couple o ' things. First the AWE/PAE/etc stuff only allows you to move
db_block_buffers/data buffers above and beyond the 3gb limit. If that 's
not the part of the SGA you want to grow it won 't helpI agree with Ric that it should be possible. However there is a
possibility that apply process will go crazy as object_id and
data_object_id will be changed in LSTBY database (as mentioned - test

For me 9.2.0.7 agent worked only with SNMPv1 (on AIX5.2L) .
It DIDN 'T work with SNMPv2. May be that 's true in your case too .
Did you try with SNMPv1 ?

updates tables in SYSAUX. Those tables have indexes and up to 10.2.0.2 if
an instance does massive DML (which the stats job doDuration 1151404820? That 's like 36+ years... a bit odd uh? )
Anyway ORA-1555 is often thrown regardless space availability in UNDO
tablespace. You can get it any time for read only transaction (oOracle 8.1.7.4.1

Intermittent error that (so far) is only resolved with a server reboot.

no the INSERTs are done between 00 30 and 02 30 o 'clock at night. The
DELETEs are done between 17 30 and 18 00 o 'clock in the evening. Other
processes only read the table.

other segments are in this tablespace. These segments are not very large so
they are using small extents (128 blocks 1 MB each) which are reused.
Thinking about your answer it seems to me thais anyone is running that combination please contact me off list. i

According to OPatch I 've only installed patch 3406977 which is about
SQL versioning in V$SQL. Not that it helps *you* but it 's wierd that I
can 't reproduce it.
Of course this doesn 'tAs a hint you might dump the blocks out of those freed extents in the
beginning of the segment and see what 's really there.
I hope you will solve this as one of those 150.000 records inserted
daily tI don 't because grant them any special priviledges
