I am trying to capture timed statistics (session logical reads) for a large
set of SQL statements. The script I wrote opens two SQL*Plus sessions one
to run the queries and one to collec The consistent split freezes the IOs so that its impossible for
a write to go to a disk that hasn 't split yet. However to the
database this still looks like a shutdown abort or a server crash.

As I understand it EM Database Control (against one database) comes with our Enterprise Edition database license. Does this mean we can access all pages in the EM Database Control with > The datafile is offline for many years already and we did not have

Hello
I did some googling and could not come out with much. It seems to be indicating lot of COBOL could be involved. Has any of you worked on converting application systems / data from Tandem to OraI 've had good experiences in two cases (9.2.0.6 on AIX 5.2 & 10.2.0.2 on
AIX 5.3) using jfs2 with cio but I haven 't compared it to jfs so
couldn 't really say it was better.
