If you have user-defined statistics try to run "analyze table
user1.mywork delete system statistics ". This only applies to 9i and 10g.

After completing the clusterware installation execute runInstaller and
choose option 'configure automatic storage management ' this should create
ASM instances for you on cluster nodes.

Recent release means "9.2 or newer ". Essentially if 10g does have the dbms_ldap package but I 'm not on Active Directory yet.
