Here are a few thoughts -- for what they 're worth. I 'm sure others on

1. You did not say how your NetApp storage is connected. I presume NFS
bDoes anyone know of a way to invalidate or completely flush a single
cursor?
I 'm doing some performance testing of queries that are having trouble
with bind variable peeking and sharing plans betwee

...on windows this single dbwr is doing async IOSolaris allocates the sga_max_size amount at instance start-up. sga_target
is what the database actually tries to use. The difference between them can
be used if you want to increase the sga_target pI 'm assuming from your subject line that you are talking about Oracle Apps.

With both instances shut down see if there is some shared memory
allocated but not really used.
