using the "reuse " option on all of the "create tablespace " commands you
will be fine. This is all I do when a create database
so admins create multiplexed CF because one is good so more must
be better! -)

What is the goal to achieve? HA? off-loading queries to a standby?
What is the gap allowed? i.e. do you need both db 's to be synchronised One major drawback I see with it is that you can only backup that area with
RMAN and ONLY TO TAPE. So any backup-to-disk-to-tape strategies have to be

Did you try to refresh the nodes? You can do a clean start on the
Oracle agents involved. There is a procedure on metalink to do that.
