Correct me if I 'm Drop and recreate -- if you created the MV on a prebuilt table then
you 'll be able to keep the current data set. Otherwise if you need the
current data set then copy it to a new table drop the MV rWell I 'd argue that neither position was correct. I don 't see EM as a cause
of instability - certainly not as much as RAC or ASM might be anyway and
they are reasonably reliable. Neither however woulOraSentry (www.orasentry.com) is also a great tool for Alert log monitoring.

Our dbfiles are created in Solaris UFS under VxVM and we have different tablespace/filesystem for tables and indexes.
Do you think it is beneficial to separate table and index into differenit 's the name resolution on the server not your client that matters. I 'd
check the domain name on the server and the tnsnames on the server. I 'd be
hoping to see 'proteccion.com.co ' in the naming rathList
Does anybody know where there are instructions for installing auditing and
moving the audit tables out of the system tablespace and into a new
tablespace?
thanks.
Does anyone know how to force the Adobe acrobat update pop up to come to the foreground instead of the background?
When the lovely Adobe acrobat update pops up your Portal reports hang. Users Check the alert log on the new database (auxiliary database) - any more
descriptive errors in there ?

Id suggest to take a look in the Data Guard concept and administration

is quite good actually.

when you say 'server 1 down ' you mean the machine down? or just the db
down? if it is just the instance down try bringing the listener down
on that instance as well.
We also has some issues with spetry reducing AWR report retention time. or add more space.
to change retention time you can call
dbms_workload_repository.modify_snapshot_settings() procedure.
