1) search
2) sort by date (default unfortunately ascending)

Stay away from 8-bit character sets if you can.
In my 9i course the instructor said that Oracle is gradually moving toward
16-bit character sets including unicode.

How may the following (in CAPITALS) be implemented?
STEPS -
1) a row inserts into a particular Table
2) WAIT 30 seconds for the row to be processed by some unrelated service
3) AfterUm yeah. 8i is far from new and so is 9i for that matter.
Are you having troubles?
Say it wouldn 't be that the installer is hanging and you eventually
have to kill it would it?
That hapMost likely the main reason for the delay. Got to play catch-up!!
