All good suggestions so far.
I will add one more -- there has to be an FTP server (ftpd) running on the
server-side of the connection.
Most flavours of Linux include an "ftpd " binary but many do noThis has nothing to do with partitioning.
Your problem is that in the database FK should reference the "whole " PK
- not part of it.

Yes the database console is still useful w/o any of the packs but you
will definitely lose a lot of functionality. For example like Paul
alluded too - the entire "Performance " tab/page is greyed-oFolks
Is there an equivalent to "df -k " to check space usage for RAW devices?
If not then how can one look at the free space available on the RAW
device? I am using RHL ES 4.

I just looking through the 10g grid database and noticed that I have
three partitioned tables with a ton of partitions
SQL > select table_name count(*) from user_tab_partitions
2 groThis is Oracle v9205 on VMS (alpha) 7.3-2.
Getting the following while running (just about any) query via sqlplus
Temporary tables and indexes on them are appropriate in your situation
in case you do not want to query those tables from another session.

is the directory where the library is Not sure off the top of my head but I think it 's user/all/dba_tab_privs
and IIRC the "tab " in the name is a misnomer because it really has
privs for all objects not just tables.
