Like Mark Bobak right said i think the ideal way to be a DBA is to work
through the ranks as a Developer and then become a DBA over time. this is

There is a bug with Agent 32 bit on x64 it hangs on fix_4198214.exe. If you
are fast before it invokes the executable rename it when installers asks

My AWR report shows ###### for certain values suggesting that the number is
too large to display. I have not found Have you checked the startup logs to see if any errors are report? Since you are using ASM it needs to be up prior to the database services starting. The configuration I have is for a RAC enviornmentHi All

performace very slow In the Oracle documentation it indicates that the only parameter needed for
enabling share servers is to set the 'SHARED_SERVERS ' parameter to a non
zero value. If the 'DISPATCHERS ' parameter is negDataPump might be able to do this. Are you on 10g?

Is is possible to know from which version the database has been
migrated/upgraded to its current version. We have been asked to downgrade a
database but none knows from which version thI realize that is possible I went to Pete Finnigan 's web site and read a
note about the error. I am in a secure area though. They is nothing coming
from the outside.
