150 reports + some other stuff) with production doI was just working in another DBA 's database and found that all tables are
analyzed each day including SYS and SYSTEM. His script uses the following
syntax
analyze table SYS.table_name validate Leslie

One small correction. You only need to increase the java_pool_size if you
are going to create Java stored procedures.

Keep in mind that this is a mailing list. It generates a lot of traffic.
Do not include non-text attachments and keep those small.
Standard edition should be just fine if you don 't need partitioning
and function-based indexes. I also recommend buying UltraSPARC
processors instead of Ultraspace. If you are really adventurous
yIn Legato you need to adjust the number of "sessions " to 1. This also has
the added benefit of not allowing "interleaving " of multiple sessions onto
tape which can significantly decrease your restI am attempting to drop a synonym and it hangs. This tells me the synonym is locked. I check v$access and it 's not being used. I also checked v$lock. Anywhere else to look?

Well i
If the status is "waited known time " then you are
no longer waiting and have been burning CPU
since the completion of the last wait.
The "seconds_in_wait " will then be a fair indicator
of howIf you read the text of the error message it refers to a quota on the
segment owner. See who owns it and check his/her quota on the tablespace
mentioned in the error.
