Hi list
my finding is Oracle security fixes are released between official cpu

There is no reason you can 't fully export an Apps Database and import
it.
There is however a few steps to do with that.
There is a very good metalink note about the process when using Apps 1Hi

Have you compared the time to update a row vs. the time to insert a row? My
understanding is that MERGE is provided as a convenience not as a
performance enhancement. My experience with OraclGraham what makes you think you cant do this? Oracle sofwate is very
good at loading data while the database is in use...
I mean if i / we had to wait for users to be "off the system " to load
dataYou can back them up and compressed they will consume about 30 percent
of space according to my experience. You don 't have to delete archive
logs after backup - Oracle will delete them if there is spaOn 7/23/07 Arif Gulzar <gulzar.arif@(protected) > wrote
