Its definitely on the companion CD as i loaded it on Linux. It installed
OK but failed on the setup I have not had time to go back and sort out

There should be no problem changing the system clock while Oracle is
running. Oracle records its changes via the SCN. The only issue would
be if you had to do a point in time recovery fSee Bug 272219 (Oracle 7.3 to 10.1 and all versions in-between) and Metalink forum discussion 149572.999.
You cannot create a trigger on a table if the table has a column named the same as the columAre these invalid packages some that you intend on using? If you never need to use them you could ignore the fact that they are invalid.
