inout bind, for procedures:

$sth->bind_param_inout( ":NUM", \$num_drawn, 10 );
$sth->bind_param_inout( ":DATE", \$when,    10 );
(10 is size)

Classic bind:

$sth->bind_param( ":JB", $job )
