So if that's the final version why does it say RC5 in the filenames.
Perhaps that is the reason that it is not available on the SUSE portal,
this may not be the final item.

As I read the info on the site, it appears that the evaluation aspect of
the software is access to Yast Online Update, which is limited to one
month - the software itself is the regular production software, not
evaluation.

Your existing YOU login should provide you with normal (not
"evaluation") access to YOU.

I saw the eval, but I'm not interested. The press release says
maintenance/update users are entitled to an upgrade of the real SLES9.
That's what I'm looking for....anyone found it yet?
