Hi Magnus,
SLES8 with ReiserFS supports large (> 2GB) files.
You should note that large files on 32-bit systems may cause problems.
I gernerally use file with 2048MB in size.
If you?ve got problems with large initial extents you have two
options:
1. Create the Tables manually before importing the tables
(i.e change the initial and next extent to a value lower than 2 GB)
2. Use Oracle 9i DB with automatic extend management
