Small licencing question :
If we want to build a RAC cluster with 2 nodes - Dual-core HP DL385 -
SLES 9 x86-64.
Can we still use standard edition ?
The oracle part looks OK : 2 boxes * 4 cores * 0.5 ( oracle factor for
AMD dualcore )= 4 "CPUs"
Should be around 60K + support
But for the RAC part:
Knowing the RAC standard edition is limited to 4 CPUs / cluster, does it
still work ?
Is there some kind of "CPU" hard code in the Oracle RAC code ?
Please bring me some light ...
