Hi,
we have two instances on one server having 8GB of Ram. Both instances are
configured with 1.7GB SGA + 500MB PGA. If there is some activity on the
database the machine starts to swap.
I've heard from our oracle support that linux 32 bit has a per user process
limit of 1.7GB, that would mean that the two instances share this 1.7 GB ? Is
this so, could anybody explain this to me ?
Very best regards
Michael Seiwert
