We have a two node RAC instance of Oracle 9.2.0.6 on SLES 9.2 server.
When I run some application processes, I get Oracle value conflict
errors; Talking to the developer, it is found that one instance acquired
a row lock while the other instance was trying to update it for the same
transaction. I googled and there were suggestions on how to avoid the
split transaction. I was wondering if anyone in this email list can help
me on this?
