[suse-oracle] Tablespaces length in reiserfs

Replies:

Hi all

i have a litte doubt, i am going to create a great database, ~200G in
tablespaces size only for data and ~350G for indexes.

I have two raid5 (500G & 400G).

My doubt is :

- two huge tablespaces (one for data & other for indexes) with just one file
each
- two huge tablespaces with multiples files

- Multiples tablespaces

The main table will be have 120G of data.

I plan to use reiserfs for the two raids, one filesystem by raid.

I have a very good experience with reiser, but not with huge files, i don't
known the performance of reiserfs with huge files.

Many thanks.
