I am trying to use OCFS with Suse 10.
I get the following error when doing
mount -t ocfs2 -o datavolume -L oraclecrs /home/app/oracle/crsdata
Mar 5 21:56:47 linux1 kernel: (9764,0):ocfs2_parse_options:491
ERROR: Unrecognized mount option "datavolume" or missing value
The mount works without the datavolume option but i guess it makes it pretty
y useless for oracle.
Suse 10 came with built it ocfs packages.
Here are the versions :
linux1:/usr/sbin # modinfo ocfs2
filename: /lib/modules/2.6.13-15.8-smp/kernel/fs/ocfs2/ocfs2.ko
license: GPL
author: Oracle
version: 1.1.1
description: OCFS2 1.1.1
srcversion: CC8C5630530C9CBDF2939AB
depends: ocfs2_nodemanager,ocfs2_dlm,jbd
vermagic: 2.6.13-15.8-smp SMP gcc-4.0
linux1:/usr/sbin # cat /proc/fs/ocfs2/version
OCFS2 1.1.1
linux1:/usr/sbin # uname -a
Linux linux1 2.6.13-15.8-smp #1 SMP Tue Feb 7 11:07:24 UTC 2006 x86_64 x86_
64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Anybody faced a similar issue ? Also when will Oracle10g Rac be certified
on suse 10 ?
