Hi All,

It's always nice to read this "ext3 vs reiserfs" debate every six
months. We all learned while ago that both works great depending on your
work load ;-)

Only suggestion (advice) to Oracle is that after seeing valuable
feedback here on this list they should consider (if not already)
including reiserfs along with ext3 in internal QA cycle.

PS: Last time Oracle consultant asked for ext3, I gave consent (I don't
care one way or other). To my surprise he moved to reiserfs as ext3
couldn't handled 1.5TB file system creation. Performance rocked on
reiserfs.
