Hi everyone,

I've been checking out the installation guide that Arun did on Oracle 9iR2 RAC
on SLES 9 and I have 2 questions:

1. When it comes to setting up the IP addresses for each node I see that in the
guide both public IP's for both nodes are the same (in the example
9.25.120.143), seeing other guides like puschitz I see that he uses a different
public IP for each node, is that an errata or should both servers have the same
public IP address for an active-active configuration?

2. I see that there is no official position on the use of either OCFS or Raw
devices, wich one do you guys recommend? I was thinking about implementing OCFS
but I'm not so sure after seeing some threads on this list that say that it is
pretty unstable.

I hope I can add more comments to the installation guide after I give it a try
in order to help the community.
