Hi,
If your web server is a iAS 10.1.2 OHS, php support comes built in and is
ready to use.
If it is an apache based web server, you need to recompile php with oci
support, using either instant client (personally I think it's a mess) or the
standard Oracle client for linux. Then you may have to set the Oracle
environment for your apache user (ORACLE_HOME, TNS_NAMES...)
You can also set these variables in your php scripts with the setenv
function.
OTN has a page dedicated to PHP. You can find there tutorials and detailed
documentation to help you set up your Oracle connection for PHP.

Hi,
I am using Suse Linux ES 9 as my webserver. I have another server with
suse linux ES 9 installed and oracle 10g is running on it. I want to develop
some applications using php and for that I need to connect to my oracle
server. can any one help me in this? how to connect to oracle server from
the web server using php ?
