Ravi,

Sorry for me jumping in a little late (I'm about 2140 emails behind on
this list), but we use the following to cleanup job history after 2
weeks:

EXEC dbms_oem.PurgeJobs(sysdate - 14, 0);

A similar procedure is used for Event history:

EXEC dbms_oem.PurgeEvents(sysdate - 14, 0);
