Yes I did that according to the metalink document "How to configure an
HTMLDB DAD for the 10g Companion CD HTTPServer".
BTW the marvel.conf file does not exist anymore. I had to create it manually
and reference it in the oracle_apache.conf.

Thanks for this hint, I think I have to investigate further more into the
login process.
In the meantime I set up a system using windows 2003 server as OS where DB,
HTTP and HTMLDB are running fine after I reordered the system PATH entries,
because sqlplus does not work anymore at your next login to the server. It
looks in a wrong ORACLE_HOME and can not find the right TNSNAMES.ORA
therefore you can not logon as sysdba and hence can not install HTMLDB. (If
you install DB, HTTP and HTMLDB in one go it works.)
