Hello,

Is it a strict requirement for Oracle to have the first NIC of the
server with fixed IP? Is there any workarounds for this?

Our servers (BL45p) were setup in such a way that all the blades' NIC
1# are on a vlan which receives dhcp from the altiris server and since
I don't want to wreak havoc around here - being that some of the
blades are already in production, I would like to deploy another
solution for this problem, system-wise, that is.

Anyone?
