Brief? AutoPatch is the utility. But before diving into that, I'd recommend at least reading the Oracle Applications Concepts, Oracle Applications Maintenance Procedures, and Oracle Applications Maintenance Utilities manuals at http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25284_01/current/html/docset.html.

Could anyone, give me a brief of how to apply patches in Oracle Application (unix).

What is the file that runs first.

I imagine that there is a files like shell script that call others scripts and do all copy and necessary update in folders.
