[suse-oracle] Oracle Page Allocation Error

2006-08-07

Replies:

Our Oracle 10.2G running on SLES 9.3 under zVM 5.2 on a z-890
Mainframe locked up while running a long, heavy I/O batch job.

By 8:28 AM on SAT, the log shows a cron task starting and finishing.
Then 36 hours later, nothing had run but we get:
Aug 6 21:48:23 lnoaesd -- MARK --

etc. etc.

the disk is EMC/Symmetric emulating 3390-M3 connected via 4 ficon
directly to z-890. We are using ext3 lvm's with striping = 4.
has anybody in this list experience problems with Oracle 10G under SLES9.3?
