Just one thought:
There are two "/" between jre and bin. Is it a manual typing mistake or was it
there originally?
Is there maybe one too much in JRE_HOME or in the vipca script?

If it is originally correct, try then "ldd /opt/oracle/rac/jdk/jre/bin/java"
to see which libraries it is trying to load and check if there are there.

Haven´t you got any dependancy issue at installation time?
